What Is Cyber Essentials Plus?
It is a Government backed scheme that helps businesses of all sizes protect themselves against potential cyber attacks.
Having recently gained Cyber Essentials certification, this was the next step. To gain the ‘Plus’ required stringent on-site testing. We are delighted to have passed with flying colours!
The on-site testing was conducted on Friday 24th September 2021. The testing included;
- Testing our e-mail security, with potentially harmful attachments removed;
- A review our company phones to ensuring certain content could not be downloaded and shared. Certain apps were proved to be blocked in the testing too;
- A compressive test on access to, and the visibility of, websites deemed harmful
And we are delight to say… we passed with flying colours!
