Number 5 on the list is Apple. Believe it or not, Apple employs a dedicated box opener. We all now how important the ‘unboxing experience’ is, and Apple take this very seriously indeed!

Fun Fact Number 4.

In at number 4 is the reason the egg carton was designed. Protective Packaging is something we take very seriously at Springpack, and this was the case for Joseph Coyle of Smithers back in 1911. The egg carton was designed to reduce the number of breakages when fresh eggs were supplied by a local farmer to a hotel owner.

What a cracking story!

Well, it’s actually the packaging instant coffee comes in.

The first time you open a new jar, the coffee smell hits you instantly (pardon the pun!), but the aroma is actually sprayed onto the lids to provide the scent of freshly ground coffee!

Fun Fact Number 1.

Drum roll please.
