The team here at Springpack all had a fantastic time exhibiting at the Empack & Packaging Innovations NEC show.
What a turnout! We absolutely love visiting the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, there’s just something about being in those exhibition halls that gets the adrenaline running!
This year, we teamed up with the fabulous team at Lantech to showcase the latest carton erecting and sealing technologies.
The machines we exhibited were the CI-1000 Case Erector and the CS-300 Case Sealer. Here are some videos of them in action.
The CI-1000 Case Erector is designed to be a compact solution for your case erecting needs. Easily adjustable to your box size, this Case Erector can erect cases up to 500 x 325 x 520mm, and erect and seal the bottom of up to 25 cases every minute! This will save you a considerable amount of time during your erection process. This Case Erector has the option to use tape or hotmelt sealing.
Using a case erector such as the CI-1000 will also guarantee 90° angles on your cases, every time. This will allow you to completely optimise the stacking, packing and protection abilities of your case.

The CS-300 Case sealer is expertly designed to be the ultimate solution for your case sealing needs. Easily adjustable to your box size, this Case Sealer can seal cases up to 650 x 510 x 600mm, it can seal both the top and bottom of up to 30 cases every minute! This will save you a considerable amount of time during your sealing process. This Case Sealer is compatible with both traditional tapes, and environmentally friendly paper tapes, such as our 50mm Gummed Paper Tape.

Using a Case Sealer will guarantee a well-applied, uniform seal for your cases, with no wastage of your tape. The CS-300 has three tape extension options, to ensure the perfect amount of tape on the sides of your boxes.
Despite all this fun operating the machinery, the most enjoyable part of the show was speaking to all of the visitors and fellow exhibitors! Here at Springpack, we’re all about the personal touch. So getting out there, meeting our customers and having a chat with guests at the show was a true highlight.
We are proud to be a carbon-neutral company, and we are passionate about the environment. So when the show ended, we visited the neighbouring stands and offered them our demo packaging materials. Where possible, we encouraged members of the team to reduce their carbon emissions travel via train to Birmingham International Station – we pledged 6 journeys by train!
