Steel Strapping, also know as Steel Banding, is used to secure very heavy loads, which improves safety during storage and transit. This particular steel strap is 'Ribbon Wound', meaning is has been wound to form a coil the same width as the strap. This Strapping is 16mm wide, and 0.5mm thick.
Steel Strapping is often used in the building trade, and when exporting items abroad. It can also be used to bundle together metal items, and even glass.
