What is the lead time on specials?
Lead times on bespoke packaging products very much vary depending on the product requested. Some bespoke cardboard boxes can be delivered to you within 1-2 weeks depending on the complexity of the item
In comparison, some specialist films can take up to 6 weeks. As a very general guide, we aim to get our products to you within 2 – 8 weeks. This allows time for our full 5 step packaging specials process to be completed. These steps include:
1. Discussing requirements
It’s important for a supplier to understand the exact requirements of your custom made packaging product in order to take this forward and design a product that will meet your needs. During this stage, the sizing, branding and material requirements for your packaging boxes will be outlined.
2. Designing custom packaging
Once your requirements are understood the design of your custom packaging product can begin. This may require a completely new design of a product from scratch, or making alterations to existing packaging products to help them fit your needs. Regardless of which option is chosen, we will be considering the best ways to provide optimum protection, as well as other factors like cost-effectiveness.
3. Providing a packaging sample
We know that you may wish to see a sample to ensure that you’re happy with the design and overall product. In most cases, we can provide a sample where needed and requested in order to give you that extra peace of mind.
4. Design amends
At this stage, any amends can be noted and rectified before moving on the final step. However, if you do wish to see another sample of the amended product, we can provide that at an additional cost.
5. Bespoke packaging is delivered

Do Springpack stock specials?
Yes, we do. We can hold stock of a specific item for up to 3 months, and drip-feed this in when needed. We’ll also manage your stock levels to ensure that you never run out of any special items that you use.
Can I order specials online?
Yes, you can! Once you have agreed a special item with your account manager, we’ll add the item to your online portal. That way you can order this at your special customer price, along with any standard stock products that you require.
